foundation can help the children thanks to the support of many motivated
people such as the staff, the teachers of the local schools and
the volunteers. If you are interested in supporting the Thai

Runs 'N Roses lodge
All the donation to the Thai Child Development
Foundation go directly to the children in the projects
and are not used for overhead costs. To cover the costs for organizing
the projects the management of the foundation has started a company
as well: Runs 'N Roses is set
up only to support the Thai Child Development
Foundation.
 Runs
'N Roses organizes Eco-tourism
projects. Tourism that does not damage the local environment and
culture. In some cases the projects might even have positive effects
for the area. Runs 'N Roses
has 3 beautiful riverside bungalows available for rent. For people
who are interested to learn more about the activities of the foundation
as well as in relaxing in the middle of nature far away from mass-tourism,
it is the perfect place to be. Examples of activities Runs 'N
Roses organizes in Phato are trekking, home-stays, rafting,
Thai cooking courses, horse-back riding, etcetera. If you are interested

Runs 'N Roses was set up to
support the Thai Child Development Foundation
with facilities, staff and financial aid. Therefor coming on holiday
to Phato, staying in the beautiful nature lodge, doing activities
and dining in the mountain view restaurant directly benefits the
foundation in a sustainable way. There is also the possibility to
help by ADOPTING
A BUNGALOW.

All donations will be used for the development of the children
directly, in means of health care, nutrition, education or /and
daily life as well as a savings fund for future education of the
children in the home and those under the wing of the foundation.
Daily life cost such as property rent, electricity etc. are covered
by Runs 'N Roses. The Thai
Child Development Foundation is run by volunteers.
We encourage people to come and stay at Runs
'N Roses so they can see first
hand the impact their donations will have on the children in this
region of Thailand.
Material help
Send material.
Games, toys, clothes, notebooks, educational material and so on
are always welcome. You can sent packages to our post office-box
(address on the bottom of this page).
If we receive more material than can be used for the children of
the Thai Child Development Foundation
(we work small scale) we will donate all additional supplies to
orphanages in the country who have many children under their care
and will also benefit from these materials.
Voluntary work
Come and work as an volunteer
The foundation is completely run by volunteers and therefor always
in need of more support. If you are interested in working and living
with the foundation in Phato, Thailand, for a period of 1 to 3 months,
please visit the pages on voluntary work. Please note that international
volunteers can not apply for work in the Children Home, as we do
not want the children to be confronted with too many good-byes.
All volunteer projects are based on education and /or environment
and working with local people and kids.
