United nations sustainable development goals
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 global goals designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all”. These goals, by the United Nations General Assembly and intended to be achieved by the year 2030, are part of UN Resolution 70/1, the 2030 Agenda. Since 2004 TCDF has been a frontrunner in sustainability. Sustainability is not only about environmental awareness, it concerns the field of local food supply but also local sustainability concerning finance and fair jobs and acces to education and local heathcare. The Forest school academy of TCDF is about LEARN EAR RETURN and circularity. TCDF is the official knowledge location for Self-sufficient Economy, an initiative of the old king of Thailand, which means that schools come to TCDF to learn how you can increase self-reliance on a small scale. Below is an overview on the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and how TCDF implements those on a grassroots level.
The 17th goal: is an open invitation by TCDF for all companies with awareness to partner for the good!
