Dietary Care, Lifelong Change
Nutrition Program
Dietary Care, Lifelong Change
Nutrition Program
Our Nutrition Program, plays a critical role in nurturing the health and well-being of children under our care.
One such inspiring story is that of Eclair, a 13-year-old girl. Her journey through a challenging year of continuous chemotherapy has been made more manageable, thanks to the specialized nutrition support provided by the TCDF. Eclair's strength and resilience are a testament to the profound impact that targeted nutritional care can have on the lives of children.
Key Achievements of the Nutrition Program:
- Providing essential milk to newborns who lack access to mother's milk.
- Offering specialized diet milk tailored for children battling illness.
- Emergency food support to children requiring dietary assistance.
Currently, our program supports the nutritional needs of 52 children, each receiving care that's adapted to their unique health requirements.
Tailoring Care for Each Child
Specialist Healthcare
Tailoring Care for Each Child
Specialist Healthcare
At the heart of our mission is the belief in changing lives one at a time through specialist healthcare. We understand that each child, like each health challenge, is unique. That's why our approach to care is as individual as the children we support. Our specialist healthcare includes crucial services like operations and physiotherapy, alongside in-home care and extensive village outreach services.
Take the story of young Sung, just 2 years old, battling leukemia. Generous donations have made it possible for Sung to undergo a vital operation to widen a small, damaged vein and insert a permanent tube. This procedure significantly reduces the pain associated with his monthly intravenous injections, exemplifying the profound impact of specialist healthcare.
Currently, we are proud to have 66 children enrolled in our program, each receiving the personalized care they need
Empowering the Unseen
As Thailand progresses swiftly, its rural communities often remain underserved, missing out on essential care and education. At our foundation, we deeply recognize these disparities and passionately step in to support these overlooked children who fall outside the systems.

Education as a Pathway Out of Poverty
Scholarship Program
Education as a Pathway Out of Poverty
Scholarship Program
We believe that education is a powerful tool for change, offering a brighter future for children from impoverished backgrounds.
An inspiring example of the impact of this program is Note, a 23-year-old young man who grew up in an orphanage. With the support of a university scholarship from TCDF, he is now on the verge of graduation. This milestone is not just a personal achievement for Note but a testament to how targeted educational support can transform lives.
Key Aspects of Our Scholarship Program:
- Providing full and partial scholarships to children from poor families, covering all levels from primary to higher education.
- Offering university scholarships to teens who must leave their homes, shelters, or orphanages at the age of 18.
- Implementing the 'Learn-Earn-Return' mentor and alumni program to support and guide our graduates.
Currently, 21 deserving children are benefiting from our scholarship program, each taking steps towards a better future.
Empowering Unique Learners
Special Needs Education
Empowering Unique Learners
Special Needs Education
Core Components of Our Special Needs Education Program:
- A dedicated school tailored for children who cannot attend local village schools due to specific educational needs.
- Strong focus on enabling students to reintegrate into their village schools, fostering community ties and continuity in education.
- Providing essential daily school bus services that reach children in remote mountain villages, ensuring education is accessible to all.
Take, for instance, Berlin, a 13-year-old student with a learning disorder. Unable to cope in his village school, TCDF's special school has become his new learning sanctuary. Thanks to the support of donors like you, Berlin can continue his education in an environment that understands and nurtures his specific needs.
Currently, our program proudly supports the educational journey of 60 children, each with their own unique needs and potential.
Bridging the Gap for Education Equality
School Access & Uniforms
Bridging the Gap for Education Equality
School Access & Uniforms
Essential Components of Our School Access Support:
- We provide school uniforms, a critical component in Thailand's education system, to instill a sense of pride and equality among students.
- Alongside uniforms, we ensure that children have the necessary school bags, books, and learning materials to fully participate in their classes.
- Recognizing the importance of comprehensive support, we also offer school bus services and lunch assistance, ensuring that logistical and financial barriers do not hinder a child's education.
The provision of school uniforms is a particularly impactful aspect of our work. In Thailand, uniforms are not just a dress code, but a symbol of belonging and discipline. Each year, as students require white uniforms for daily wear, sport uniforms for physical activities, and scout attire for group events, the financial burden on families can be overwhelming.
Our program currently extends this vital support to 67 children.

- Provision of daily school bus services to remote mountain villages.
Our students, with the support of local volunteers and farm sponsors, are actively involved in rejuvenating various farm patches and stations. The produce they cultivate is sold to our restaurant, creating a sustainable cycle that benefits both the students and the community.
Currently, 98 children are actively benefiting from this program, gaining essential life skills for a brighter future.
Immediate Aid in Critical Times
Emergency Support
Immediate Aid in Critical Times
Emergency Support
Our Emergency Support program offers rapid and essential aid to children and communities facing immediate crises.
A poignant example of our program's impact is the aid provided to Moken sea gypsy children. Stateless and confined to an island nearby, their only source of fresh water had been cut off. Thanks to general and emergency funds, TCDF outreach workers were able to respond immediately, ensuring these children had access to clean, fresh water.
Key Focus Areas of Emergency Support:
- Provision of clean water support to communities in dire need.
- Supplying emergency food and medicine for children.
- Offering prompt assistance during crisis situations.
To date, TCDF's Emergency Support program has extended a lifeline to 636 children, providing them with essential aid when they need it the most.
Why is your support needed?
Why is your support needed?
Thailand is indeed progressing rapidly, with notable advancements in its healthcare and education systems. However, this development often doesn't extend to those most in need, particularly children requiring special care in rural areas. These children, who fall through the cracks of the existing systems, desperately need a fair opportunity for change.
The World Bank highlights a stark reality: Thailand currently faces the highest income inequality in the East-Asia and Pacific region, with a staggering 79% of its impoverished population living in rural areas. This disparity underscores the critical need for support in these communities, where many children are left behind by mainstream systems.
